Cleobetra Casino Review: Pokies, Bonus and Licence
Cleobetra scores 9.0/10: its welcome is €1,000 plus 350 free spins over three deposits, wagering 35x. E-wallet payout timing differs by casino and method and comes after the ID check. Anjouan licence, not an Australian one.

Welcome package and its conditions
Cleobetra Casino publishes a welcome of 1,000 EUR plus 350 free spins, spread over three deposits. The first deposit is matched at 100% up to 500 EUR, and the rest of the package sits on deposits two and three. On this site it sits above Kingmaker Casino's 500 EUR plus 50 free spins, and below Casinova Casino, Betrepublic Casino and Betwest Casino.
Wagering is 35x. No no-deposit bonus is verified for this brand. The published offer is a deposit match, so it begins only once money goes in. The minimum is 20 EUR. Like the other four, Cleobetra shows its amounts in EUR rather than A$.
Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify for the welcome bonus here, and they fail the same test at the other four casinos. You also cannot stack bonuses. Cancel the offer and the bonus balance comes off the account.
Those 350 free spins are played on Cash of Egypt. The game suits the Egyptian styling, yet you cannot shift the spins onto a different pokie. Before accepting, read how a 35x requirement works, because the multiple decides how much must be staked. This review does not promise that the spins or the match will leave you ahead.
How withdrawals are listed
E-wallet withdrawals depend on the method and come after the ID check. Card withdrawals are listed at 24–72 hours. For scale, Betwest Casino lists e-wallet and crypto withdrawals at up to 24 hours after the ID check, Kingmaker Casino lists cards at 3–5 days, and Casinova Casino and Betrepublic Casino leave timing to the method and the ID check.
Speed claims apply to e-wallets, not to cards. We have not verified the methods Cleobetra actually offers an Australian customer. A published hour-count is not a checked list of wallets, cards or transfers. The one payment fact that is firm for all five brands is the Skrill and Neteller exclusion on the welcome bonus.
The minimum deposit is 20 EUR, matching the other four. Figures are published in EUR, so an A$ bank balance still has to be converted. The 8-hour line matters only if an e-wallet is actually offered, which we have not verified.
Pokies and the Egyptian category
A search for the best pokies online Australia is really a search for slot choice, bonus clarity and a licence you can name. On choice, Cleobetra is the only one of the five with a separate Egyptian games category. The brand launched in 2025, which means the track record behind that category is short.
No verified slot count and no verified provider count are available for Cleobetra in our notes, so none appears in this review. What is fixed is the free-spin game: Cash of Egypt. Choose the offer for that title, or do not expect the spins to follow you elsewhere.
The others, in short. Casinova Casino places spins on Cash of Gods in a lobby of roughly 11,000 slots from about 127 providers, plus a live casino section. Kingmaker Casino is jackpot-oriented, with spins on Royal Fortune Wheel. Betrepublic Casino opens on a sportsbook with horse racing and virtual sports, and spins on Riches Express. Betwest Casino lists about 11,000 slots from about 129 providers and launched in 2026. Only Cleobetra separates an Egyptian games category.
Browsing by theme does not raise the chance of a win. Treat the lobby as entertainment, stake only what you can lose, and keep the session inside limits you set first. Help in Australia is Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858. For self-exclusion, the national register is BetStop. You must be 18+ to play.
Licence and whether Australia is covered
The licence is from the Gaming Board of Anjouan, and the operator is NovaForge Ltd (per directory listings). That is not an Australian state or territory licence, and it is not issued by ACMA. The same Australian gap applies to every brand on this site. Calling a page the best pokies online Australia does not create a local licence that was never granted.
Elsewhere in the group, Kingmaker Casino, operator KNG Marketing Ltd (per directory listings), and Casinova Casino are licensed in Curaçao. Betrepublic Casino is licensed in Anjouan. Betwest Casino does not publish a gambling licence, and Westbound Ventures Ltd is a company registered in Costa Rica.
For an Australian reader, Anjouan names the authority that licensed the operator. It does not mean an Australian state, territory or ACMA has licensed the site. A dispute sits with NovaForge Ltd under that offshore setup. The 9.0/10, lowest of the five, already reflects that gap. The figure is not a promise you will win.
Verdict against the search
Cleobetra's 9.0/10 fits a brand with a clear but limited match to this search. In its favour: 1,000 EUR and 350 free spins over three deposits, 35x wagering, spins on Cash of Egypt, a separate Egyptian category, and e-wallet withdrawals that follow the ID check.
The limits are just as plain. Launch year 2025, an Anjouan licence from the Gaming Board held by NovaForge Ltd with no Australian authorisation, cards at 24–72 hours, no verified no-deposit bonus, and payment methods we have not verified one brand at a time.
Match Cleobetra to the Egyptian category and the 8-hour e-wallet line. Do not match it to an Australian licence, because it has none.

Updated: October 2026
The editorial team is a group of reviewers who compare offshore casino brands for readers in Australia. We read the published welcome terms, wagering lines, payout windows and licence statements, then score each brand against the same checklist. We do not offer gambling.
How we score:
We score published bonus terms, wagering, stated payout windows and the licence each brand names. A high score is not proof of winnings, and we flag where Australia has not licensed the site.
We may earn a commission if you visit a casino through our links. That commission does not change the scores or the drawbacks we publish. The site does not run gambling services. 18+ only. Please read the terms of use before you use the links.
